NORTHERN BLUEGRASS CIRCLE MUSIC SOCIETY WORKSHOP 2010

The NORTHERN BLUEGRASS CIRCLE MUSIC SOCIETY WORKSHOP 2010 held in Edmonton, Alberta Canada was a very well organized event. Director Ron Mercer thought of everything, from transporting a dozen or so professional musicians and their gear from the USA to giving them all the information and preparation they needed to do their best.

the faculty was great, the food good, the weather perfect. The 2010 NBCMS workshop featured vocalist legend Alice Garard from North Carolina, Fiddler Barbara Lamb from Nashville, Dobro instructor Troy Brenningmeyer from St Louis, The Carolina Road Bluegrass Band from (guess where?) and Jack Hatfield on advanced banjo from the mountains of Tennessee among others.
